At SampleServe, we understand the importance of your data privacy and autonomy over your account. If you have decided to delete your account, this page will guide you through our secure and confidential process to ensure your account and data are handled correctly.

Account Deletion Process

If you do not own a workspace, you can request the removal of your account at any time. Simply fill out our Account Deletion Form, and we will process your request promptly.

For Workspace Owners

If you own a workspace and wish to delete your account, you must first transfer ownership to another user. In your deletion request, please indicate who the new workspace owner should be. Once the ownership transfer is confirmed, you may proceed with your account deletion request.

Workspace and Data Deletion

Workspace Deletion Requests are exclusive to workspace owners. If the workspace has multiple owners, all must agree and submit a request for workspace and data deletion. To initiate the deletion process, please complete our Workspace and Data Deletion Form.

Data Retention Policy for Users
When deleting your user account, it's important to note that certain data will not be immediately removed from our systems. This includes essential information such as user names, emails, locations when specific actions were performed (e.g., sample collection, custody transfer), and images captured for location documentation and sample collection (selfies and signatures). Such data will only be deleted when the workspace itself is deleted.

App activity data will be deleted after 60 days.

Crash logs, diagnostics, and performance data will kept until it is no longer needed.

Submission and Confirmation

Upon submitting your request, our team will review and process it in accordance with our data privacy protocols. Please note that the deletion process may take some time to ensure comprehensive removal of your data from our systems. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is finalized.
